PROJECT ARCHITECT/DESIGNER

SMASH Architecture is looking for multiple talented project architects/designers to join our staff in the Aspen/Roaring Fork Valley location to assist in the development of a wide range of project typologies. Successful candidates will be involved in all phases of project design and development and must be willing to contribute to project related tasks as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The candidate will work as part of a team on a range of projects to both lead and assist the project's development from start to finish, including construction administration, project management and budgeting. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, team players, interested in personal and professional growth and learning, and have excellent design skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-7 years working in an architectural office

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture

  • Licensure or on-track to fulfill licensure strongly preferred

  • Experience with the following programs required: AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Adobe Suites, Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with the following rendering programs preferred: 3dsMax, Maxwell

  • Construction documentation/administration experience required

  • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or hold a U.S. work visa.

  • Candidates must have an excellent and positive attitude to join our small but quickly growing office, and be comfortable with a significant amount of responsibility, job tasks, and client/consultant interaction.
